Sustainable Morristown's mission is to promote and support a sustainable future for the Morristown community through education, leadership, and action.
Our Origin
Sustainable Morristown, Inc. is the result of an evolution over several years of like-minded community members working together towards a common vision of a Morristown that balances economic, environmental and social quality of life. People, Planet, Prosperity! Sustainable Morristown has been an active campaign for several years but was incorporated in April 2012 as a NJ Non-Profit Corporation. Its three founders came from business, academia and government backgrounds and had been actively involved together in Morristown’s local sustainability efforts for many years. Their groundwork has paved the way for future generations to carry on the mission. That means you!

We are a nonprofit who works together with business, residents, schools, faith and public organizations to ensure the economic, environmental, and social well-being of the greater Morristown area now and for our future generations.
