'Plogging' Is Sweden's New Eco-Friendly Fitness Trend That's Going Global
Forget lagom or hygge, there is a new Scandinavian word to add to your vocabulary: plogging. Plogging essentially combines jogging with picking up trash, while turning it all into a social event. The phenomenon was born in Sweden in 2016, when groups started to form around the activity. "I run a lot and I love to spend time in nature. Shocking footage has emerged of tonnes of plastic waste in the Ocean near Bali. British Diver Rich Horner captured the images while diving at Manta Point, which is located around 20km away from Bali, Indonesia.
