Morristown Town Hall lawn and steps•200 South Street, Morristown, NJ 07960

Come to a rally and festival on Saturday, September 8th, in Morristown, New Jersey.   Planned are: calls to action by speakers on climate and energy, green jobs, environmental justice, and voting in the midterm elections; an electric vehicle area; music; children's arts and crafts; and an open mic opportunity for college and high school students. Location: a town that is one of New Jersey's leaders in sustainability, earning Sustainable Jersey's Silver certification.

Join us to put the pressure on our local, state, and national leaders to take bold action on climate, jobs, and justice. With the Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco on September 12 – 14 showcasing climate actions taking place around the world to inspire deeper commitments and accelerated action, it's an opportunity to demand that our governments and institutions commit to a fast, fair, and just transition to 100% renewable energy and an immediate end to new fossil fuel projects. Then keep the pressure on by voting on November 6th.

Visit us at the Grand Fondo-NJ

September 08, 2018•11:00 AM

Hyatt Morristown, 3 Speedwell Ave, Morristown, NJ (Unless otherwise noted)

A Celebration of Cycling

Gran Fondo NJ offers five routes of increasing levels of challenge, from the extremely challenging Gran Fondo down to the relatively relaxed Breve Fondo. We were one of, if not the first, Gran Fondo to offer a Breve length route for those not up to the challenge of a longer route, but wanting to partake in the festive atmosphere of a Gran Fondo.

Our goal is for you to have fun, be challenged, and never have to look at a cue sheet during your ride. Each of our six rest stops is stocked with the usual fare you would expect on a challenging ride, and featured treats that will surprise you. With timing only on the hill climbs, we offer a serious athletic challenge for our competitive participants, with the ability to wait at the tops of the climbs for others in your group without worrying about "losing time".

A surprise to many, Gran Fondo NJ offers some of the most beautiful and challenging cycling terrain in the east. Our 62-mile Medio route was named by the editors of Bicycling Magazine to their list of "The 50 Best Rides in America."
